3. Eligibility & Applications

Misrepresentation may result in denial or withdrawal of accreditation or certification.
4. Accreditation, Certification & Ratings

Accreditation and certification are granted for a defined validity period

Ratings are indicative benchmarks, not regulatory approvals

All outcomes are based on documented evaluation and committee review
ACAMS decisions are final, subject to the Appeals Policy.
5. Fees & Payments

All applicable fees are non-refundable unless explicitly stated

Fees do not guarantee accreditation or certification

ACAMS reserves the right to revise fees at any time
6. Use of Name, Logo & Credentials

ACAMS name, logo, certificates, and designations are protected

Use is permitted only in accordance with ACAMS Brand Usage Policy

Credentials must not be misrepresented as government recognition
Unauthorized use may result in disciplinary action or legal remedies.
7. Professional Conduct & Ethics
All applicants, certified professionals, and accredited institutions must:

Comply with the ACAMS Code of Ethics & Professional Conduct

Maintain ethical, professional, and lawful conduct

Respect patient safety and public trust
8. Suspension, Revocation & Disciplinary Action
ACAMS reserves the right to:

Suspend or revoke accreditation or certification

Remove listings or ratings

Take corrective action for non-compliance or misconduct
Such actions follow due process as outlined in ACAMS policies.
9. Limitation of Liability
ACAMS shall not be liable for:

Clinical outcomes or patient-related matters

Business, financial, or reputational losses

Decisions made by third parties relying on ACAMS credentials
All services are provided “as is” without warranties.
10. No Guarantee or Endorsement

Accreditation or certification does not imply endorsement of services

ACAMS does not supervise daily professional practice
